Guest editors

07 August 2019

In May, we welcomed six Catholic school students in our offices in Melbourne to be the guest editors of our Spring edition.

We asked them to plan and write articles that could help young people like them think more deeply about the theme of ‘family’, and set them to work.

Their reflections draw together a number of different aspects family life – how experiences vary from generation to generation; how migration and displacement affect family life; issues involving broken or struggling families; and how the media shapes our ideas of what is a ‘normal’ family.

Thank you to our guest editors for their great enthusiasm and energy, and their insightful contributions to the edition.

We hope you enjoy it. (Clicking on their names will take you to one of the articles they wrote for the Spring edition.)
