a book by Bernadette Mercieca and Ann Rennie, prioritises the importance of Catholic education as a framework for living, based on the ideal of loving God and loving your neighbour. It looks at where we have come from, where we are now and the hope we hold for the future of the faith in Australia and those who will carry it forward. The authors have lived this book for decades. Every idea has been tested in the rough and tumble of the classroom and every chapter poses reflection questions for those who would like to engage deeper with the book.
Ann Rennie is also a regular columnist for Australian Catholics magazine.
Accreditation
Accreditation is available in the dioceses of Melbourne, Sale, Sandhurst, Ballarat, and in Toowoomba, Armidale, Cairns, and Lismore.
Teachers in Victorian dioceses wishing to receive accreditation for this event will need to supply your VIT Registration Number and School as part of your booking.
Attendance will be checked on the day, so only those attending the live session will receive accreditation.
If you are in a Diocese that is not listed above (but have an AC+ subscription), please check with your Catholic Education Office to see if it can be accredited with them also.
