Media internship

The Editor  |  18 February 2019

A unique work experience opportunity for students interested in a career in journalism or publishing.

The Australian Catholics media internship program offers Year 10 and 11 students the chance to get hands on experience in journalism and be the guest editors of the Spring edition of our magazine.

Students from Catholic schools get the chance to spend a week at Jesuit Communications, learning about the publishing process and aspects of writing and editing publications, while planning and compiling an edition of the magazine.

Meanwhile, students from interstate also have the chance to contribute to the edition as correspondents, and will hook up with our editors via phone or video conferencing.

This year's program will run from May 13 to 17, 2019. Check out these flyers for more details.

Melbourne-based students: Apply to be a guest editor

Students in Vic country or other states: Apply to be a correspondent

NOTE: We've extended the deadline for applications to Friday 21 March. Succesful students will be notified by the end of Term 1.
