Young Journalist Award Junior Winner: Changing lives

Our year 6 teacher recently asked us to name people who we believed to be great leaders. Leaders who inspired us. Names of famous people rang out across our classroom that day. Indeed, each and every name deserved its place on our humble whiteboard in our year 6 classroom. However, I could not help but think of a man who is not famous, but has changed my life forever. This story is about an everyday hero, my year 5 teacher, Mr Lawrie Knott.
