Julie Goodwin first came to Australia's attention when she emerged as the winner in the first season of Masterchef in 2009. Since then she's appeared on a weekly cooking segment on the Today program, and as a contestant on I'm a Celebrity, Get Me out of Here. Interestingly, however, she started her career as a youth worker, running retreats at Catholic schools and working at a juvenile prison. We decided to ask the Catholic mother-of-three how she combines her passion for cooking with her passion for helping others.
