What are your words worth? Enter the 2008 Australian Catholics Young Journalist Award for the chance to get published and win prizes for you and your school.
Australian Catholics is calling on students from Catholic schools around Australia to tell us about what’s important to them.
Are you passionate about an issue such as homelessness, drug abuse, global poverty or refugees? Do you know someone with an inspiring story to share? By doing some research, conducting an interview, and writing a story – you can help make a difference.
This year’s award is going to be bigger than ever before. We’re opening it up to students in both primary and secondary schools, giving out prizes for the best articles in three sections:
Winner Runner-up 12 and under $200 $100 13 to 15 $300 $150 16 and over $400 $200
The winning schools from each section will also win $500 each.
