Extraordinary stories of everyday Australians.

Australian Catholics magazine, in conjunction with Australian Catholic University, is proud to bring you the 2013 Young Journalist Award.

Write a story on someone inspiring in your community and you could win great prizes for yourself and your school.

Do you know someone with a story to share? By doing some research, conducting an interview, and writing a story you can help make a difference.

Learn more about the media and share your story with the world. 

Winning stories will be published in the Spring edition of Australian Catholics.

Australian Catholics is offering cash and prizes for the winner and runner-up in three sections, with total prize values of:

Junior section (Year 5, 6)

Intermediate section (Year 7, 8, 9)

Senior section (Year 10, 11, 12)

$230

 

The three section winners will also win $300 for their school and membership to the Children's Book Council of Australia.*
